About the Journal

Journal of Pre-Nicene Christian Studies

Mission Statement

"To rigorously excavate, analyze, and disseminate the foundational texts and contexts of early Christianity before the Council of Nicaea, applying forensic modern scholarship to the timeless questions of theological antiquity."

The JPCS provides an authoritative forum for interdisciplinary research. We encourage contributions that employ philological, historical, and theological methodologies to uncover the complex development of proto-orthodox and heterodox traditions. Our commitment is to academic excellence and the preservation of meticulous manuscript studies in the digital age.
